It all started back in 1980, when we were just 9 years old. Our families lived within a few miles of each other in a small town called Clovis, which is located in the heart of central California just a few miles from Fresno. Our families attended the same church and we happened to be in the same Sunday school class.

By the time we were in high school, we had grown to be good friends, but it wasn't until our Junior year of high school in 1987 that we started dating. Within a few months, we were high school sweethearts and remained that way for several years. After Steve left for college and then later for a two-year mission to Northwestern Argentina, we seem to have lost contact.

In the summer of 1997, after seven years of not having seen each other, we finally had a chance to make up for lost time. Within a year's time we were engaged and married on June 20, 1998.

On December 13, 2001 our beautiful daughter Summer Noël Shreeve was born. She has brought us so much joy and has grown into a sweet, athletic, artistic, mischevious, friendly, and adorable little girl.
